Douglas Pulsipher
is an unabashed, unapologetic Utah native.
He has lived as far away as South America
and southern California, but always seems
to gravitate back to his beloved home state.
Educated at Art Center College of Design in
Pasadena, California, he has operated a
commercial photo studio specializing in
product illustration and architectural photo-
graphy. In recent years he has been heavily
involved in the production of stock photography.
Douglas Pulsipher's stock photos have been
featured in commercial projects by such
prominent companies as Sony, BMW, Intel
General Motors, Citibank, Coca Cola, and AT&T.
Capturing images of Utah scenery has long been
a passion in his photographic life and, although
his wife repeatedly assures him that there are
places beyond the borders of Utah that have
great photographic interest and beauty,
he remains largely unconvinced.
